Dude's Playground

A nature retreat located in Waterloo, IL, only 20 miles from St. Louis, offers 2.5 acres to explore. There are multiple lakes and a beautiful, serene setting. 

If you love to fish, Dude's Playground is the place for you! The lakes are stocked with crappie, bass, bluegill and catfish.  The best part is the fish fry after! 

An ADA accessible pontoon boat sits at the dock, waiting to take veterans out on the lake for a ride around to look at beautiful scenery or to go fishing. 

Hang out with other disabled veterans in a relaxed environment and let loose! Many events take place at Dude's Playground from concerts to fundraisers where all have a great time! 

Dude's Playground would not be the same without the one and only, Dude! He will easily become your best friend while you are fishing or boating. Throw his rope and you'll be best friends forever! 

There is a concrete ramp that leads down to the lake to ensure that everyone is able to participate at Dude's Playground. Bathrooms and the pontoon boat are also ADA accessible.
